About this book
This book begins with close observation: the child copies the cartoon square by square using the grid, then sees the complete picture take shape. The Draw by Grid series is intended for ages 5 and up. Halloween characters can become part of an October art display after the child finishes drawing and coloring them.
The finished drawing can then be colored with the child’s own patterns and palette. Choose this format when they enjoy a visual copying challenge; it does not provide ready-to-color pages or the outline-first activity of Trace Then Color.
